They take things at face value. They never ask why? How? When?<<<<< Right, and I suspect things will STAY like that. Meggy will be viewed as the new "hero" that got these projects approved and is a proponent of bringing new projects to the parks. Keep in mind that Staggs will get this treatment, too. Weiss and Rasulo won't. They've been shuffled to the back, or, in the former's case, actually let go. Once again, I really think that this is done to achieve public effect... unless these new positions actually enact new policy, be it good or bad. (Betting it's bad for Disneyland! )

Is that the ultimate goal here? Get Meg permanently out of Disney?

And, as Leemac said, she has health issues.

A company so concerned with money is propping someone up as "thank you." A "thank you" indeed.

Scary, isn't it? So, Social Media exists as a conduit for communication between guests/fans/consumers and a company, yet when a company has a chance to set the record 'straight', so to speak, they just censor the posts into oblivion? Propaganda again, anyone? With nearly 27 million followers on their main FB page alone, what company wouldn't want to use that platform to engage its followers, put out a cohesive corporate message and knock down ay misinformation? But I'm sure it would have been difficult for a Disney Social Media rep to simply state that 'At this time, we have absolutely no intention of selling our beloved parks and resorts that bring join to tens of millions of guests annually and create magical memories that last a lifetime. They have, remain and will continue to be an integral part of the MAGIC of TWDC.' Wouldn't that be simple? Case closed. End of speculation. Unless of course ... more news to come?
