I'm not clear on what he means by "business park"? The KaVo Kerr dentistry business have a school-type facility on S. Manchester that backs on to that property. AFAIK they own the property (and have done for at least ten years), recently refurbished it entirely (last 5 years) and they have no intention of selling. The other building south of there is owned by DHS and used for asylum processing. So I'm not sure what TP2000 is alluded to when he says DLR owns the property either directly or through a proxy.

I assume the parking lot is for that school. That's really the only thing behind the Carousel, so that must be the "business park" that Miceage/TP2000 mean. I guess the contention is whether Disney previously bought that property or not.

Disney doesn't have plans for third gate or using the GardenWalk so buying a failing outdoor mall when Downtown Disney is their focus and could be doing better doesn't make the company any money.

So now I think we can all say with absolute certainty that the goal is to buy up any and all land that comes along around the resort. Since PP1313 said the opposite, it must be true.

There is too much competition and the land values are too high to justify the project. The numbers just don't stack up. Carousel continues to be operated as before. DLR are nothing more than a landlord at present.

The property won't be any cheaper in the future, might as well get it now. It is not like the Disney Company is short on cash.
