    One only needs to look at the explosion of success that is the San Diego Comic Con to know that comics (or if you prefer, graphic novels) are as popular as ever. Marvel superheros don't need to fit into Disney anymore than Touchstone or Miramax films do. But if they wanted to use them in the parks, I wouldn't have any problem with that...as long as quality of execution is present.

    Regardless, I almost never watch the big-screen super-hero films. They aren't close enough to the comic books to satisfy me. Nobody wants to hear me yelling at the screen: "That's not what Mystique looks like!"
