EVERYTHING should be working for the cost of a day at WDW. It is at TDL, even after a natural disaster of incredible magnitude.<<< Of course I don't have to. But if they do look up to par, I will commend them for that. It's the same scenario if you went to TDL and were impressed with THIER upkeep. It should ALWAYS be looking fine. And when it is, it's a good thing, and worth commenting on. BTMR looked OK, though. Same effects are broken, of course.

It sounds like the old run down Carny days were the rides really were dangerous...Does management actually "Manage" or do they just flip ON switch and go offsite for a meal(as in the "monorail meal special" that cost WDW an undisclosed amount of money)<<<< I strongly suspect that the error with Father and Son just happened when we got stuck. The ride went dark, so perhaps those two AA's didn't come on fully? Still... someone should have noticed. Eager to hear if the problem will be fixed in the coming days. If it is, I can't blame them too much... ...but the CoP does need a huge, forward thinking, refurb, that brings the spirit of Tomorrowland back into the attraction.

But for me, I am more compelled to want to take my family to IOA, Seaworld, the new Legoland and Kennedy Space Centre now. As a Disney fan though, I think you should try it at least once. You will hopefully have a better time than I did.

If you never have it seen in a better condition, or your last experience was 4 years ago, how will you know what it is supposed to look like. Even I am really bad at noticing broken effects. However, I read the Kevin Yee report and now this one and it seems that Splash is now in a state that will even be noticeable to me. I think a lot of people won't get off the ride and say this and that wasn't working but they will have an undefined feeling that something wasn't really right. But since it isn't a big matter, they just shrug it off. <<When Feb 1st came and that ride reopened it should have been perfect. >> Agreed - how can they close it for such a long time and not use the time for those needed repairs? It seems like they spent the whole budget on the lap bars. <<^^Oops, that should read TOKYO not Paris ... although I've never seen an attraction with so many things not working at DLP either.>> As much as I love DLP, at least WDW does not have the effects falling down on guests...

CBJ, Pirates, and HM especially.>> While that sounds good, it makes the whole thing even more sad: it just shows that they are able to keep up show quality, but they can't be bothered to do so everywhere.

I am pretty sure they didn't know about COP... because I honestly don't think they would have run the show with TWO MAIN AAs slumped over.

Even for someone who is as bad as noticing things like that as me...
