Thanks for sharing your moments. Today I had a bad day and looking forward to seeing some characters tomorrow. I really need a Goofy or Mickey hug right now.

    1) When my now 8.5yr old step daughter was 4 she was given a snow white costume by Grandma and Grandpa when we got to our hotel. It was for Halloween but we told her that she could bring it to the park and take a pic with Snow white. We asked a CM what time to generally expect S.W. and git her ready. Right on time out came Snow who walks right up to my daugther and tells her what a beautiful princess she was and asked us to wait to the side for a few minute so that she could say hi to her other friends and then take her time to take special pictures with our daughter. They turned out Adorable! She still tells everyone about her time with Snow White.
    2) This April my son was 22 mo old and his fav character is Goofy. We looked all over for Goofy in both parks and when we saw him (finally) my son decided to take a nap! So on our way home we went to Goofy's Kitchen first thing. Goofy came right over to our table and spent about 20 minutes with my son who loved every minute. We got GREAT video and think that "GOOFY" needs a raise!

It would have been a pretty cute picture as is - but just then, Chip came quietly up and struck the identical pose right next to him. Thank you Chip! Pmne of my all-time pavorite pictures!

And THANK YOU to all the wonderful character CM's wo have created all these wonderful stories - DL just couldn't exist without you. YOU bring the magic to life!

(My other favorite encounter was at WDW but I'm going to mention it anyway. When I was little, I had a little red record with all the Alice in Wonderland songs on it, and Alice is my all-time favorite character. Last time we were at WDW a couple of years ago at the Beach Club's buffet breakfast, THE MOST PERFECT Alice came up and sat down at our table and chatted for a bit with us (we always go early just to maximize time in the parks, so there weren't a lot of kids there yet). She was SO in character, a very verbal, slightly petulant, very inquisitive 12 year old girl [probably 20, but her illusion was impeccable!]. Alice, if you're out there, you made 50 years just melt away!

Keep making magic all you wonderful character CM's and CM's in general! We love you.

I had another encounter a while back with the Mad Hatter. While in my wheelchair, my friend sat on my good side of my lap and the Hatter took it on himself to push us around in a circle. He knew my friend, so he took this chance and shoved us into the men's restroom shouting, "YOU'RE FREE!!!"

Another recent encounter with Peter Pan as well. I caught up with him and I explained I never got to meet him. We talked for 5 minutes before a line formed. He asked my name and we took a photo together. Later that same day, I saw him with the Wonderland crew and he smiled, waved and called me out by name. Then later on in the parade, he saw me again and kept waving to me like crazy. I simply love it when they take the time to remember people. :)
