It is hard to build up miles in the cold and the snow. Today's storm might just make me move traning indoors. I'd love to aim for the Coast to Coast medal sometime, but as I only started running in September, the Half marathon is a huge stretch for me! I've also signed up for a 10 mile run in Philadelphia to get me used to the concept of just THAT many people running at the same time. Fortunately that run does not also require airfare, hotel and car rental expenses. I hope the rest of you thinking about doing the Disneyland Half do it and we can all cheer each other on to the finish line!

The start was a bit hectic with 36,000+ starting at once; it took me 13 minutes to get to the starting line after the gun went off. But overall it was a really good experience.

The first year, there was hardly a single person between leaving DL and getting back to the resort area.

So jealous that AZ has had a perfect January. We are anticipating another 2 feet of snow this week and no place for the plows to put it. The treadmill has been set up. Has everyone "liked" the RunDisney on Facebook? They talk about the various races as they happen. Looking forward to when they start talking about the Disneyland Half.

Very glad I registered when I did

I ask because I'll be running the 5K that morning and have no reason to attend the pasta party (and don't want to pay extra since I have an AP anyway). But I'd like to hang out in the park the rest of the day.
