I was reeeeally glad that 'goodgirl' showed up and found me - I had told my friends that there would likely be a contingent of internet people at the 'cove bar' that I wanted to meet. If I hadn't managed to connect with anybody I would have been somewhat embarrassed. So thanks GG - you're braver than I am. Like her, I saw a gaggle of red-shirted groups in the bar but couldn't muster the moxie to just walk up to them and introduce myself as 'gadzuux' and ask "are you 'blue devil' or 'ocdean'. I did sort of stand at the bar and try and be big as all get-out in case someone was looking for me. I played tourguide for two and a half days, and did a great job of it. We saw pretty much everything while minimizing crowds, and everyone had a good time. I dropped two of the four off at 'john wayne' on sunday evening and then my friend and I headed on out to palm springs for six nights of R&R(&"S"). I do this same combo often - DLR and then PS - it makes for a terrific "yin/yang" vacation. I very much want to attend a 'bay area meet' - the last few have had timing problems, but I'm certain I'll manage to get to one soon. Thanks for the visit and the trip report 'goodgirl' - it was a pleasure meeting you.
