I just got back from DL Wednesday evening. There are a lot of loose and crumbling bricks and pavement throughout the park. I was very worried that I would slip or twist my ankle the entire time. My feet have high arches and sometimes my ankles twist on uneven ground so I try to be very careful where I step but I felt I had to be even more careful due to all of damaged bricks, etc. I spent a good deal of my vacation looking at the ground, making sure that I didn't trip. I don't know what I would do if I fell and hurt myself at Disneyland. Even if it was Disney's fault, I would never sue for a huge cash payout. If it was their fault, I do think I would want them to do something to help make my trip a little easier. I wouldn't demand it, but I would hope for it. But I guess opinions would vary on what was personal fault and what was Disney's fault and also on what Disney could or should have expected and/or prevented. I just don't know.

There were some concrete walkways that were very slick when it rained on 10/17. I really noticed this at WDW two years ago. Maybe its ny choice of shoes (Columbias) that are prone to slipping on these surfaces. Anyway, I didn't fall down.

BTW - My DD lost her camera bag when we were there - it contained the camera and a few dollars. When we went to lost and founf they had the camera but the money was gone. The two CMs working gave each of my girls plush animals to make them feel better and it worked. And yes, I did send in a note commending their work.

Im in no way saying that your mom,or sister, or you acted as if it were Disneys fault-there is a sighn that says to be careful and shows one of the characters falling down. But, I have had experieces where(while no one was hurt)I was not happy with how a cast memeber behaved-one cast member droped my husbands AP in the turnstyle and would not look for it. And we were given $60.00 in food vouchers. I called guest relations. Im glad your little sis was not hurt worse, please dont take this response the wrong way-but sometimes when someone we gets hurt we tend to lash out to the first rep we come upon. Hope she feels better.
