In January the ride didn't feel very bumpy. Maybe they changed the tires of the ride vehicle. The same goes for SM. In recent years SM was always very bumpy, but not in January. >>>I'm also glad that DLP is getting more unique merchandise, but I don't especially like any of the stuff they showed. Perhaps it will connect better with a European audience<<< I guess thare is some truth behind that, because in 2008 we didn't like the WDW merchandise, but bought a lot at DLP. However the new merchandise doesn't appeal to me either.
Originally Posted By dagobert >>>However the new merchandise doesn't appeal to me either.<<< Is it Either or Neither in my sentence above?
Originally Posted By FerretAfros I think "either" is right, but I'm not sure. Neither is a contraction of "not either" (like "don't" = "do not"), so you would use it if you were comparing it to something else: "I liked neither the WDW or DLP merchandise" "I didn't like the DLP merchandise either" At least that's what sounds right to me. I'm not a grammar teacher, so I could be completely wrong. English is such a screwey language! : )
Originally Posted By u k fan Neither is a negative term so as the sentence already includes a negative "don't", you would say either. English is a tough language to learn! I'm so glad it's my native tongue or I'd be in trouble!!!
