I hope it resonates with guests. DLP should do more of these promotions.

It seems like a good concept, but Disney relied to heavily on fairly lame seasonal happenings in the past when they had no cash, but needed something new so I'm worried that a) this will be a lot of fuss over something quite minor, and b) they're out of cash and we're going to get "seasons" instead of attractions for years again!!!

That would be fantastic. The soundtrack of the first version was amazing. I wouldn't mind if they change the effects of the ride or modernize them, but I would love to see the return of the original soundtrack.

But I certainly agree that Mission 2 was a step down from (my vague memories of) the original version. The track has also gotten quite rough, so hopefully they'll take this as an oportunity to smooth things out some

I know I'm in the minority, but I actually prefer the original Star Tours to the new one. The randomized destinations makes it feel very disjointed to me, and there's something about the new programing (either the 3D or motion, or a combination of the two) that makes me feel really disoriented after riding. I've never had problems with any other simulators, so I'm not sure what it is. I also don't like the overall 'streamlined' look of everything, which just looks a lot more plain than the details from the original queue

With a new SW movie in the pipeline, this would be the perfect opportunity to bring ST:II.

    Hopefully it is true.

It seems the second RER entrance is finally being constructed. It was about time, because when the park closes it gets really crowded in the first RER entrance.

It also looks like they might be adding some more shops in that general area, which would be a good addition to fill out the plaza

And my French is quite limited, but it looks like they're expecting to begin construction in 2016, have an 18 month construction period, and open in 2017. It's a shame they can't do it sooner than that

That is indeed disappointing, but luckily the entrance is outside the Disney area. The first RER entrance is now also outside the Disney area. The guests hav to exit through the former DV main gate.

That will make the whole resort plaza more complete. I hope there will be a bar or a coffee house too, because I really like the veiw of WDSP's entrance gates.

In Europe people have the chance to complain about public construction plans. Now the plans will be available at the city council and people can take a look. I guess that's why it will take some time to start with the construction.

I have no problem with the comment period, but I had hoped that the project was further along

I'm not familiar with the US laws, but I guess it's similar. Environment is one of the biggest issues over here.

I guess it's a lot easier for Disney in Florida, since Disney has its own municipal authority there.

And DLR is so developed that there's really not any "nature" to disrupt. They have traffic considerations (and air quality for things like fireworks), but most of the work there is just impacting Disney's own man-made environment, so they have flexibility too

I guess it's mostly big transit-type projects (rail lines, interchange reconfigurations, etc) that have a lot of public involvement here. I don't think it's very common to have them for an addition to an existing location like DLR or WDW
