I'm not a big HP fan, especially of the movies, although I read the books, I found the ride great. So with the attachment to Indy it's likely that I will prefer IJA over HP too.

It's one of the most iconic film scores of all time! I also love the Phantom Manor score, so it was great to hear a 'live' version. It's neat how the whole thing is just a variation on Grim Grinning Ghosts, yet sounds like a completely new song. I've also never actually seen a bass flute being played before, so that was a cool bonus!

I feel like somebody was having fun with they laid out that path! Will the river be fully drained with this refurb? I had assumed it would be, like the DL refurbs, but I suppose most of the work could probably be done with it full (or nearly full, if they want to paint around the waterline)
Originally Posted By dagobert >>>Will the river be fully drained with this refurb?<<< Yes it will be drained, but I don't know when. >>>I'm surprised they didn't put it backstage somewhere, particularly since the railroad will be closed for most of the refurb, so crossing it wouldn't be an issue<<< I guess they want the office insode the berm to have a better access to the construction site. They are refurbing BTM, the river and the geysers. Outside the berm there's a road that provides access to WDSP, to the DLH and to the backside of MSUSA. So I'm not sure if using the small space outside the berm is an option.

It's a relatively unknown bit of WDW history, yet it ran for many years It's also interesting that the show was at midnight all year long (to celebrate a fictional New Years Eve). Given how most of WDW shuts down by 9pm, even during the busiest seasons, it's hard to imagine an era where a relatively out of the way locale would do something so flashy so late. It really shows how much less broad and visionary Disney has become in recent years
