First, it has to be a huge hotel, because on the left hand side of the road leading to the resort plaza is another huge parcle of land. Second, the hotel would have to cross the RER and TGV lines.

There were only about 1,600 spots for the 5K and 3,300 spots for the half marathon, so this will either be a very small race by Disney standards, or they're really hoping that most people will book through a travel agent On a related note, looks like I'm going to DLP this fall! I may need to start a trip planning thread!
Originally Posted By FerretAfros >>If they were to put a Hollywood hotel in that space is it possible to link it to WDSP?<< I think it would be really tough to do, since the site on the lake really isn’t that close to the park entrance. It would have to be something like how the Paradise Pier Hotel had a dedicated entrance to DCA in the early days, despite being on the opposite side of a busy street I think it might be interesting if they could build it over the entrance to the park, similar to the DLPH. The entire Studios park seems ripe for redevelopment, but the entrance courtyard is especially lackluster. It would have to be part of a huge overhaul effort (one that I’m not sure will ever happen all at once), but it’s fun to think about

In my opinion WDSP has a very beautiful entrance, at least it's so much more beautiful than DHS's or DCA's entrance. I really like the gate and Front Lot with Studio 1. >>>There were only about 1,600 spots for the 5K and 3,300 spots for the half marathon, so this will either be a very small race by Disney standards<<< Maybe they are starting small since it's the first runDisney event at DLP. >>>On a related note, looks like I'm going to DLP this fall! I knew they had space that's still unused, but I didn't know it was that big. Is there a way that it could eventually be connected to POTC, eliminating the walk around/across Adventure Isle?
Originally Posted By dagobert >>>Is there a way that it could eventually be connected to POTC, eliminating the walk around/across Adventure Isle?<<< I don't know, but I think it should be possible. Here's a concept art for the Indiana Jones Adventure between Indy coaster and POTC and it doesn't look like it is connected. However it can't be such a big problem. As for Autopia, that's the only ride I've never done at DLP. I wouldn't mind if it's gone, but I'm sure many kids would be disappointed. It still has long lines filled with children. http://s843.photobucket.com/us...97732795

At the very least, it seems like they could add another bridge from near the proposed IJA entrance back to Adventure Isle, so it's not a complete dead end

I really like how it uses familiar characters in iconic scenes, yet it doesn't copy everything directly from the films. The glowing orbs instead of lanterns for Tangled get the point across, while still creating a new and unique experience for the park. It seems like a really great and well designed addition
