    I'm glad the tower doesn't look so shiny, because otherwise it wouldn't fit into the area. The buildings in the Italian area in Fantasyland look a bit run down and not brand new.

    In 2008 it was still working and last year it was turned off due to the cold weather. I don't know if the regular park guest cares if it works.

    The Frontierland dedication is a tribute in some ways as Frontierland in Disneyland (anaheim) also has a tribute plaque. However, there is also the Discoveryland tribute plaque as well - it is on the right hand side before you reach the Autopia toilets.

    Dave does a DLP tour that explains the heritage of DLP in the context of other Disneylands and also discusses the historical accuracy of the lands and the real-life inspiration.

    It really makes the park come alive and is much more detailed than the official tours.

    It's a full-day experience, but I highly recommend it if you're ever there when Dave is!!!
