This is no less subtle, just a bit cheaper and not as upmarket. I would think the general guest make up of the Santa Fe is families with small children, youth groups and people only staying for a night or two who have to have the Disney experience as there are nicer non-Disney hotels that are cheaper no more than 2 minutes from this hotel so I think in that context it's fine!!!

If this were one of the value properties at WDW it would make sense, but the Sante Fe was designed in the pueblo revival architectural style by noted architect Antoine Predock (here's one of his more recent buildings: http://www.archdaily.com/tag/a...predock/). The original theme of the American Southwest is lost with the overlay. To me the rooms look like they are designed specifically for little children.

It's a renovated room and the lamp is already damaged. Although is just a minor problem, but if you look closely at the lamp, you will see that they coloured small parts of it. Usually you take the whole lamp done and after you have coloured the wall, you put it back. It seems that didn't happen here. I guess no one will recognize that, but since I've recently coloured some walls at home, I did see it.
