There's a shop at EPCOT where World Showcase starts, that uses a world travel theme. But I maybe wrong on that.

Isn't it sad that the most exciting thing that's currently under development at DLRP is a shop.

I may be just imagining it though!!!

    - Princess Experience Room: Princess outfits, dolls, accessories, toys and the Bibbidi, Bobbidi Boutique where your little girl can be transformed into a Disney Princess
    - Enchanted Dining Room: Kitchen items, mugs and photo frames
    - Adventure Room: Clothing for boys
    - Villains Room: Jewelry, watches, clocks, trading pins and collectibles
    - Map Room: Computer software, CDs, stationery and Disney souvenirs featuring pens, pencils, magnets, key chains, etc
    - Carnival Room: Plush toys
    - Bird Room: Men's clothing
    - Snow White Room: Infant/toddler clothing and accessories
    - Great Hall: Women's clothing, sleepwear and accessories

Although it does say some changes were made in 2006 to include more Princesses/Pirates/Stitch theming I guess I was mostly thinking of the Map Room although I do think a few of the other rooms still felt very travel. I'm sure I remember cases etc. in the area that would now be the Princess Experience Room. I guess with that many different themes travel is actually a good way to link them just like a "studio" themepark can get away with any attraction based on a movie!!!

There is a room with a big stained glass map on the wall, with a 'path' connecting all of the Disney resorts around the world. It's kind of funny how they added HKDL to the map years after it was installed, so the 'path' makes a small loop to and from the Pacific, without connecting to the main path, since that's where the edge of the map is.

The WoDS looks really nice. Hopefully one day Disney will retheme the whole DV to that style. Now it's just a mixed bag of different themes.

It's a nice touch that they used the old statues from the WoDS in NY.

It's also good to see that Front Lot gats a repaving.

When it first opened the architecture was considered to be very edgy. They tried to do a Disney-fied version on Universal City Walk, but it never really had that vibe for some reason.

"It's also good to see that Front Lot gats a repaving."

I noticed that. Didn't they recently repave that area?

Also, I love the murals BUT putting Tarzan and Jungle Book together geographically is very wrong. They work thematically, but considering the point is that it's travelling around the globe it's very wrong. They aren't even the same continent!!!

    Epic fail!!!

You are right. I wouldn't have noticed that without your comment.

Maybe the statues have wrong proportions, because the sat on top of the WoDS entrance in NY.
