They also took two with our camera and at the perfect moment, my 5 year old goddaughter made the devil hand sign (pointer and pinky up and the the thumb holding the middle fingers down - courtesy of her 15 year old brother, ahem) and just cracked up the fella's taking the picture. We enjoyed the experience so much we decided to buy the photo they took, but forgot at the end of the day and we had already left for home... :-(. But we have the one that cracked us all up and I always remember the faces of those guys just laughin'.

    It is really difficult being a photographer. You are basically trying to read people's minds as to what they expect in a photograph. I applaud the photographers who put aside the company's policy on quota's and make the guests happy. Money isn't everything-just makes life a little easier. I wonder if they accept tips? I always have them take our photos due to I am never in my personal ones!

    Gee, I remember the day when I was a cast member and put in a suggestion that they post people near the scenic spots to take peoples pictures. It was turned down back then. Last trip in the 10 days that I was there, I was only asked to have my picture taken twice.

    Ive always had great experiances with the Photographers and each time I go to Disneyland I buy one of the pictures taken in front of the castle ( I have a whole wall filled of pretty much the same picture just with different outfits!). :)

    At the very least the photographers are good about taking a picture of you with your own camera so it doesnt hurt to stop for a few minutes and strike a pose.

    I certainly have noticed an increase in the number of them at DL. It used to be you'd see one at each end of Main St. with the castle being the major draw. However, now I laugh as I look down Main St....they're like manhole covers...equally spaced down the middle of the street!
