One thing I DO recall, though, is that RR originally had rubber-ish covering over the below-level track. Eventually, it began to bend and warp. I believe it was during the post-major-injury safety re-do that it was replaced with a solid cover with a wider opening (thus eliminating the need for a for squisy, movable, rubber-type cover). The opening is still extremely narrow (all things considered), and is less of a tripping hazard, should an evacuation occur. OK. Name 6 Disneyland Attractions with ride vehicles that you might board from EITHER the right or the left side, depending on the circumstances.

(Physically, they could run on the 'wrong' track, but they never are because the CM pedal is only on one side and needs to be on the same side for all cars on the track. So you, as a Guest, may end up loading from either side, but each VEHICLE is not subject to boarding from either side. Did that make sense? = doesn't count Space Mountain: DLR Space Mountain is never boarded from the exit. All special assistance boarding is from the left side, just like the standard boarding. This was true before the recent re-do and remains true. = doesn't count Splash Mountain: correct. You may be able to board from the left (customary is right) for several reasons. = 1 for kmsandrbs Big Thunder: Guests will load from both sides all day long, both from the standard queue (one line loads left and one loads right) and for special assistance boarding (pick wich side when you 'enter' the exit); each vehicle may be boarded from either side. = 1 point each for kmsandrbs and gaydsnywitch Pirates of the Caribbean: Standard loading is from the left; special assistance loading is from the right, so you may board from either side. = 1 point for kmsandrbs "it's a small world": Standard boarding is from both sides (one line boards L, one R), and each vehicle may end up on either side; oddly, special assistance boarding is only from the right---but no matter! = 1 point each for kmsandrbs and gaydsnywitch Indiana Jones Adventure: Standard boarding is from both sides; each vehicle can be loaded from either. Special assistance, originally designed to go through the elevators and board with the standard queue, now (if I recall) often boards from the L onto the vehicles on the L load track. = 1 point for gaydsnywitch Mad Tea Party: I'm not sure what to say. I don't know how to evaluate whether the teacups have right or left sides. = doesn't count Matterhorn: to the best of my knowledge, the bobsleds can be put on either track, and so are subject to being boarded from either side. However, this cannot be done as any sort of 'standard procedure' (there is no track switchover of that sort). Thus, on any given day, each vehicle is limited to boarding ONLY from the R or the L. = 1/2 point to gaysdnywitch because I can't decide Final score: kmsndrbs, 4 points; gaydsnywitch, 3.5 points Since we've all put so much time into it already, I'll declare kmsndrbs the 'most' correct this time. My list: 1. Horse-drawn Streetcars (you can get on from the street or from the sidewalk) 2. Pirates 3. Splash 4. Indy 5. Thunder 6. "small world" Phew! Thanks for playing! I hope everyone won't disagree with me TOO much . . . .

Name at least five attractions at the DLR that feature "glowing" eyes. This does not just mean "lit up". And guest/CM eyes don't count, even if they were glowing in your pictures!
