Visually great but narratively kind of underwhelming. Which I was still ready to forgive until the end where Depp does some sort of hip hop dance routine, where I immediately cried foul, and it really kind of soured the whole film for me. Why Burton decided to derail his whole film for one idiotic joke to pander to some demographic that will likely avoid this film in droves in the first place. A huge wasted opportunity.

I really loved the visuals and the acting in this movie! depp was very eerie as the hatter which really worked. Helena as the queen of hearts was fantastic! i love her so much. The chesire cat and the march hair i fell in love with right away. I really want to see this film again. i don't care about the reviews. Most of the time i don't even agree with the critics. Honestly i am not going to let somenoe else decide what movie im going to like.

No offense, but I've decided I despise hidden Mickeys. Enough is enough. Watch the dang movie!

But he's on Alice's side. So I liked him. I'll be seeing it again tomorrow. And yes, out of the corner of my eye, I caught the Hidden Mickey, no, I wasn't looking for one. And, I WILL have a birthday cake this year, that says "EAT ME" on top!
