I you feel like I am shrugging the issue off, that's not my problem. It's not like I don't understand the feeling of frustration standing in the stand-by queue... it's certainly crept into my mind. BUT when I step back and think about it, I realize I made the choice to stand in stand-by, therefore I don't get upset about it.

Most people like it. Most others don't really care one way or another. It CERTAINLY isn't anything worth giving yourself grey hairs over!

The thread is about FastPass. Besides, you’re hardly one to talk about being offensive. See, I point out the problems with the current system and from the beginning I’m told all manner of things like: I’m really just upset because I think people are cutting in front of me That I should just stop whining and go get a FastPass I waded through all the criticisms and made a strong case. I’m not going to let someone get away with polluting the discussion with confusion, use it to defend something nasty about me, and then just shrug the entire thing off as trekkeruss did. What you don’t realize is that I’ve respected the arguments of those who disagree more than my own arguments have been respected by them. I read it. I thought about it. I criticized and pointed out the error, and then dealt with someone who called me selfish because they thought I was really just upset about people going ahead of me. Well, it’s selfish to support a system that causes such inequity towards guests as FastPass does just because sometimes one can share in the reward of the imbalance it creates.

I'm under no delusion about where this matters in the grand scheme of life. That's not a valid argument in this forum. You think I'm way beyond rational? You've resorted to profanity. You've brought up a comparison to me that has overtones of Hitler in it. Hmmmm.

Even if that FP-holding rider is not waiting in that line, there is a good chance they waiting in another line somewhere else... and being "prevented" from doing anything else. I can see what you're most upset about: that a rider with a FP can essentially occupy two queues at once, or that they can be "free" to do something else. Why you choose to be angry about all this is what I don't understand.
Originally Posted By Mr X ***Why you choose to be angry about all this is what I don't understand.*** Yup. Life's too short. We get it. You're enraged. In fact you're so bloody upset that you're even upset with anyone who actually *likes* fastpass. A bunch of selfish jerks, all of us. Man, this is funny. (I'm sorry dude. I know this is an important issue for you and all, obviously. I just find you taking it over the top for THIS of all things to be a little ridiculous)

If we "have to go on it" , we wait or come back in the am.

Basically, you won't be happy until Disney scraps the FP system, because the system is "abusive towards guests." I have a feeling you are going to be unhappy for a VERY long time.

Some would say the same about getting hot under the collar over jonvn not posting anymore. Anyway, I'm against FastPass, and agree with magnet.
