Well, what probably most of us thought was some "April fools" trick turned out to be no joke--- no more jonvn, at least on LP anyway. If you head over to "Community" section X started a thread devoted to jonvn.

That's just what you want to see coming through in my words. You just feel that such a picture of me is right and then act as if it's so based on a not so careful analysis of the situation. If anyone’s gone over the edge here, it’s you, Mr. X, with your reprisals and profanity. Your recent behavior over a banned poster and the NFFC meet in Japan puts you in no place of authority to lead any charge against me. It's the same behavior you show towards my case against FastPass. In both situations you decide what you want to believe about it and then deny my reasoning just because it doesn’t seem right to you. It’s not based on any factual evidence at all. You are quick to rush to judgment and condemnation while you are never guilty of any wrongdoing yourself. I’m not going to get mad and call you an offensive expletive. I won’t make stupid comparisons between you and South Park characters. I won’t setup strawman arguments against you the way you have done to me. In your case, I only need to hold a mirror up to show you your own reflection.

And for what it's worth, magnet, I pretty much agree with everything you've said in this thread. You bring up very good points, and defend them well. I really don't have anything else to contribute to the argument, but felt you should know that you're not alone feeling that way. I would have been more vocal, but I've learned with time that nothing turns into a name-calling World Events thread faster than a FP discussion, so my general rule of thumb it to stay away from them. Everybody is so set in their ways (on both sides) that nobody will be convinced to switch sides, and it really doesn't do more than upset everybody.

But this is the place to let them boil over, not out in the real world. You know, if it’s too intense for you – change the channel and get in another thread. My blood pressure is not 160/100 over FastPass, and I’m not being boorish or blind to any view but my own. In fact, I’ve respected these other views and have gone to great lengths to carefully show the errors in them. It’s my arguments that have not been respected, and when I lean a little bit on someone for being silly over something that I’m treating very seriously then all of a sudden I’m too harsh. I am showing little to no tolerance for confusion, and I probably will continue to do so. It may sound a little harsh, but I’m really not foaming at the mouth despite some efforts to paint me that way. Now, I’ve said I’m sorry to trekkeruss, and he didn’t seem too put off over it himself. So, why are you getting into it too?
