We've been against it from the start. Instead of creating a situation where guests have to compete with each other in a way they never used to, it would be so much better if management went back to the 'first come, first serve' way of doing things.

ORWEN: You sure would enjoy the parks a lot more if they did. I mean, instead of having to keep track of all the fastpasses and times for using them, you could just enjoy the attractions!! I don't like having to be a secretary while I'm at the parks. I just want to let myself go and have fun!! They way they've set things up, now, you can't do that as much.

The stand by wait doesnt take as long because there are not many people cutting you and the express pass is only open to a limited few.

Either that or make every huge attraction have a single rider line.

But--over all--it's something that didn't really wasn't needed at all. Talk about trying to fix something that wasn't even broken!

Guest: 'Well, my kid never got to see Mickey Mouse in person.'

SOLUTION #1: Character spots with queue ropes so guests can wait in line and have their pictures taken with Mickey and his friends.

SOLUTION #2: WDI creates 'Mickey's ToonTown' -- where Mickey and the 'Top 5' characters live. Guests can go see characters anytime they want.

    ---------------

Question to Guest: 'Is there anything about your visit that you found frustrating?'

Guest: 'Wull, I hated waiting in line.'

SOLUTION: FastPass. Now guests don't have to wait in line.

It warms my heart when park experts like yourselves (frogs and all) feel concerned.

Where is that old girl anyway? Out frogging?

And, yes, we've been against Fast pass from the very beginning and had our broom sticks held to the fire for not supporting it. But it doesn't matter to us. A bad idea is a bad idea is a bad idea. We aren't easily swayed by popular opinions. But at least one of us IS swayed by your good looks. Why not drop by our little cottage in Morva some evening? I'll be sure to leave a candle burning in the window...

I cannot let such an idiotic comment go unchecked, how is Disney ruining any lives by allowing Fast Pass? If your life is ruined because you had to wait in line for a ride, I truly and deeply feel sorry for you.

I am not the brightest light on the tree, but, I would bet any amount of money that it was a joke and a cute one at that. Lighten up folks, it's just Fastpass.

That said, if people are feeling upset, to whatever degree, then the cause should be looked at closely. One shouldn't have to feel bad, even if it's a little, when paying that much money to go to a fun place and it is preventable.

As someone who just takes his time in the parks, none of this FP issue really bothers me. I will say that my solution is to limit each guest to 2 FP's a day. This would create a situation where people would have to pick and choose what attractions they really want to see and plan their day accordingly and actually get to enjoy the beauty of the parks and all of the other things Disney that they are missing with the "get out of my way, I wanna get a FP attitude".Rush,rush,rush. Not my idea of vacation.

FerretAfros: Thank you for the welcome! I've acutally been a reader for a while, just decided to post for the first time. I guess I could have selected a more milder topic to jump into. IMO, having a heated fast pass discussion makes more sense than a heated reusable mug discussion. haha.

I really like this idea except for the fact that people are already used to getting 2+ per day. If they had done this in the beginning, things might be better.

Don't you think an apology is in order WillamK99. It seems you are much to involved with the issue of FP to recognize a satirical remark for a simple jest. Come on now, you'll feel much better about yourself.

That, however, is a personal choice and, to be frank, it really doesn't matter at all to me. I was just bored and wanted to type something. There...I feel much better now. :)
