I don't need an apology, I let those types of statements roll off my back as they don't really matter to me at all. Not everyone will have the same sense of humor as I do, and frankly I care more about the comments from folks that share my sense of humor.

I will, however, apologize for not being more clear that I was joking, since no one here knows me or my sense of humor, or lack thereof. I guess I wrongly assumed that there was no way anyone could think I was serious.

    Cheers,

    So I'll give some.

    Example #1

I went to the Magic Kingdom at WDW about eight months after Winnie the Pooh opened. I was with two teen girls who had to see Pooh. Pooh had a wait of 40 minutes, and everything else was ten minutes or less. So we got a Fastpass for Pooh, and rode everything else until our time came up. I figure that saved us 30 minutes.

    Example #2

I went with some friends to Disney-MGM (DHS now) and the only thing we really had to do was Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. So we got a Fastpass for RRC and relaxed the rest of the day, doing whatever suited our fancy. Then when our time came up we rode RRC. I figure we saved at least 30 minutes here, too.

This is why I'm a fan of Fastpass.

I am refering to the ones that, for whatever reason, are not able to get one. We have established that there are only so many given out, the rest must fend for themselves. They are the ones, that for whatever reason, be it their own fault or just the luck of the draw, that get upset watching others go ahead. The question is if it became a frustrating experience to visit Disney will they return? I'm thinking that a number of them will not and will not because of that feeling.

OK, all will say, because I can already hear it, "Good then the lines will be shorter for me." Again correct, but, if at some point the number of paying customers declines significantly, the price you have to pay for that "short" line may take a little of the fun away from you as well.

As I stated in the past, nothing would make me happier then to be wrong about this and only time will tell. My concern is for the future not now.

Attendance is on the rise, if it begins to drop and people site FP as a reason then we can be concerned. As it stands, all facts point to FP increasing guest pleasure with the product.

All we will know are the results. It is the job of management to anticipate and predict possible problems. If they don't recognize it as a problem then all will stay the same. Since there have been a few places that once were Fastpass attractions that no longer are, I'd say that they already recognize a potential problem at least in those areas. I'm just saying...

I think everyone to a person would return if they could no longer get a Fastpass because Disney is more than just a few attractions. Even though they would hate to go back to a line, I can feel pretty comfortable saying that it won't stop them from returning.

Wouldn't it be great if that group that you mention were a majority of guests.
Sadly, it is a minority. There impact, if they decided not to return, although significant, would not be as harmful as the other group that is unhappy.

And that is a bad thing? ---sounds pretty cool to me as not just fewer in the parks but fewer hotheads in the parks.
