My understanding is that JL is a car guy also - hence the movie. I think after what has been turned out under his influence he could be allowed one indulgence -- and the media rip didn't help it. I agree on Bugs Life - haven't watched it in years and no idea when I will again.

Apparently, John is being credited with this after he visited and saw there was nothing but generic Disney crap of any and all themes shoved in there. That would again showcase the difference between someone like John and someone like Jay. One gets the concept of 'show' and one gets the idea of 'am I finished with the media so I can get the hell out of here? I have dinner reservations at Crustacean in Beverly Hills at 8!!!'

I thought of you when I read that this morning. Again, folks, GO TO DLR!!! <--- FLASHING LIGHTS If you haven't been in a few years, GO TO DLR. If you haven't every been !!!!!GO TO DLR!!!!! 1) These kind of tidbits are why I can't agree with Lee's POV on John & Co. It just doesn't line up. Actually, it has made me suspect the dynamics around WDP&R. 2) It doesn't take a rocket scientist to make these calls. John HAS earned the opportunity to point out these obvious choices. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face then when he does so. 3) I am somewhat sad that he doesn't have the inclination to be as involved with WDW which desperately needs this no-nonsense approach. Even with it's struggles DLR is booming and a great place to be. Mixing traditions that stood the test of time with good food, great hotel service, maintained facilities, and first class additions.
