That or work watercrafts on Seven Seas Lagoon, and shutles on Bay Lake. Personally I think Hokie should go for his Doctorate in Jungle Cruising.

I don't think it is worth what Disney charged to hear the same stories by the same people. I admit I may be a bit biased because I have spent a lot of time with many of the 'celebs' Disney has trotted out in other realms where they have been able to be more open and tell stories that you can't tell while 'on the clock'. I didn't start the thread to bash anyone. I just thought it was odd that people would leave what, for many people, may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear these folks talk to go ride a ride that will be there in the same state for likely another decade plus years.

What would be the point? You may not be used to a site that actually is critical of Disney, but this one tends to be the closest thing to fair and balanced out there. The Disney fan community has been taken over by sites and bloggers and podcasters and photographers and general whores who exist to simply present Disney's talking points to the people who view their content in exchange for freebies from the Mouse. It's one reason why some of us feel that the Disney Parks Blog and D23 are not worthy of our support.

I recently got word from a friend inside Disney who rode Mermaid and his take on it was this is 'a B+ effort and a C+ (ticket) ride' ...

First of all, some of us aren't negative about just Disney, we think the country and the world are going to hell as well. Then, there's Pierce who's on so many meds he thinks it's still the Summer of Love and he's enjoying his LSD in Long Beach. But if you think someone is being negative unfairly about something, I'd encourage you to speak up and debate/banter/argue the point. That's what we do here ... that's all we do here ... since none of us are getting paid by TWDC (one way or another) to simply spew its talking points and be positive about everything it does. And if you think I'm negative about Disney, I'd encourage you to ask me about DL, DLP, HKDL, TDR and the DCL since I've experienced all of them in the last 18 months and LOVED them all (although none, even TDR, were perfect).
