That would put it on the level of Nemo and Friends. Let the bashing begin.

    Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon
    I can't imagine anything that's better
The world is ours whenever we're together
    There ain't a place I'd like to be instead of . . .
    Groovin' . . . down a crowded avenue
Doin' anything we like to do
There's always lots of things that we can see
We can be anyone we want to be
And all those happy people we could meet just . . .
    Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon
    Ah-ha-ha [3 times]
We'll keep on spending sunny days this way
We're gonna talk and laugh our time away
I feel it comin' closer day by day
Life would be ecstasy, you and me endlessly . . .
    Groovin' . . . on a Sunday afternoon
Really couldn't get away too soon
    Ah-ha-ha [3 times]

I don't know about that. It looks to be a cogent, well thought out ride.

I want to see it myself.

At least it's not in 3D!

But I also like a good, fun, well done, immersive, escapist experience. That is what Disney was always good at versus other places. It's not all adrenaline propelled where you feel the need to race from coaster to coaster. You just relax and enjoy being whisked away from your boring ol' normal life! In fact, any beef I've had with TSMM over at the studios is only because it has absurdly long lines due to the place desperately lacking attractions. Not because it is only a C/D ticket. I'd like more of those, please. :)

There are actually a few screens in the attraction, but they are used for effect.

I think there's a false conflict in what you say. A "good, fun, well done, immersive, escapist experience" is the very essence of many good E-tickets. An E-ticket doesn't have to be a thrill ride.

It's all fully-realized sets. If you don't want to see it in 3D, you'll have to close or cover one of your eyes when you ride it. After all, we naturally see things in 3D, unless there's a medical problem of some sort that prevents it.

Not so well ... my sleep schedule has been a mess (and 11 nights in O-Town didn't help).

Besides, I'd rather be back in evil, vile, Godless, Commie China ... or at least at the Tung Chung McD's!

I'm guessing slightly better. I think Nemo and Friends gets bashed because they tooned the pavilion and not because the ride is bad because it isn't.

You're forgetting the Yeti factor: one of the biggest special effects is broken and turned off more than it works. At least this was the case a few years ago.

I agree with the sentiment, Christi.

Problem is that Disney has done so little in FLA over the Decade (Plus) of Decline that little attractions get hyped beyond belief.

Things like TSMM, which isn't half the ride MiB is, get blown up into major deals because of Disney marketing, online whores and drooling fanbois.

No, everything doesn't have to be a MAJOR large scale E-Ticket addition (not that Disney does those in FLA much anymore) ... but when they do so little it raises expectations to an absurd level for everything.

Just another way they're shooting themselves in the foot.
