I'd like to see a Hollywood Hotel, but I don't think the HK one is deluxe. I did look at it once as a possible trip to HK was mentioned due to a relative going to HK for work!!!

I mean the Disney hotels have a high occupancy rate and so it's hard to earn more money with the hotels, because the rooms are limited. The only option is to raise the rates and that makes people stay in the cheaper non-Disney hotels. If Disney would have built the hotels instead of the partners, they would make a lot more money than today. I know the financial situation was bad, but I think it was a little bit short sighted.

Unless it was something amazing you wouldn't pay deluxe price to stay there when you have the DL Hotel at the park's entrance and why build more value hotels right across the road from the Santa Fe? If you build a Davy Crockett alternative it effectively kills that.

I'd like to see them offer accommodations for larger families so maybe an all-suite hotel? Maybe a hotel with a waterpark?

If you imagine the hotels that are there as they are now under the Disney name with Disney pricing they would look a lot less attractive I think!!!

There will always be an element that won't want to stay with Disney and those that don't want to pay Disney prices. By having them stay in a location that isn't in Paris or a nearby town they still effectively have those guests as a captive audience unless they have a car or care to ride a bus. I bet most of those guests still dine onsite for example whereas if they are staying in Val D'Europe their food options are much expanded!!!

There is the right diversity of Disney and non-Disney hotels, Disney and non-Disney restaurants, if you take Val d'Europe into account. Val d'Europe is one of the best things Disney has done in France, because it adds a lot to the whole resort.

Maybe Disney gets a new boost with Villages Nature. That project includes a waterpark and I'm confident, because WDI and Joe Rhode are involved.
