And blood sausage, also known as blood pudding.....I've tried that too when I was young and didn't know what the heck I was eating exactly. I wasn't crazy about it, but it wasn't horrible. :-/ No way I would try it again now that I know.

I remmeber liking this as a kid but I tried it a couple of months ago and I couldn't get the idea of cat food out of my head and I couldn't gag it down.

I was thinking of trying vienna sausages again ( I know it's a completely different thing but they sell it in the same aisle right next to deviled ham and the I felt it was relavent) but I am afraid.

It MUST be thin sliced (very), on nice bread, with pickles and mustard. YUM!

But if the slices are too thick, YUCK!

Thin sliced, that's the secret. If you think you hate it, try it again very thinly sliced. And the pickle is very important too.

And if you think you hate tuna, try adding more mayo. ;)

That's the key for deviled ham too. NEVER eat the stuff straight out of the can... it is horrid!

But mixed with some mayonnaise and eaten on a cracker or toast and it is YUMMY!!

I think you pretty much nailed it. Take pretzels... on their own they are rather dry and tasteless. But dip them in margarine or a nice melted cheese spread and you’ve got yourself a finger licking treat!!

    LOL

AD, I feel the very much the same way about ketchup, but I am very careful about expressing that around here, out of deference toward one of our passionate brethren.
