    Boy howdy.

"That can be true. It can also be true that it's a sign of weakness, and poor judgement when humility becomes a day to day trait."

Humility is ALWAY good when you are wrong. Where the day to day thing comes in is when you are wrong everyday.

But after the derth of either in the last administration, this seems like a breath of fresh air.

It's kind of sad when you can spend 5 grand, and still have to pay extra for events in a Disney Theme Park.

I agree it is a breath of fresh air, but in the political world it is a sign of weakness, and disgrace. Ask any politican in the Orient. Americans love humility in the powerful.

Please ... often it is less expensive for me to fly to Orlando when I can do DME then it is to drive as the tolls just keep going up ... despite the fact the road has been paid for for decades.

Soon it'll cost $30 to drive one road 180 miles.

You guys and gals are saving me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, and in these tough times that's very important.

So keep up the good work.
Keep offering crap in large quantities.
Keep putting it in every shop from the MK to CBR, from ASMu to DAK, from DD to Epcot ...
And I'll keep going home with a wad of cash and far fewer credit receipts.

    Thanks again!!!

You are fixing to have an even bigger albatross around your neck if we continue down the road towards socialism. The main reason I thought Bush was a poor President is he lacked any fiscal responsibility. He tried to buy love from the people with his irresponsible give away budgets. I blame the Republicans for going along with it. As far as I can tell nothing has changed. We will continue pork barrael spending, and making the lower class even more dependent on big Government. It's going to be great living in a society with a bunch of folks that have absolutely no moral or social responsibility.

Only as long as employers continue to refuse to pay their people a livable wage.

They've been allowed to feed scraps to the peasants for a very long time now. Combine that with the offshoring of jobs, and you have what America is becoming. A super power with a service based economy. How long before we fall.

I think the world of you too Dave. I just don't think the USA can thrive in a socialist enviroment. Look at the UK. Once the most poweful nation on earth. Now they are a hot spot for anybody in the world to go to get taken care of. The British are slowly losing their identity, as more, and more immigrants plague their shores each year looking for a handout, and wanting to turn the UK into the Sh**Ho** of a country they just left. This is very troubling to me since both sides of my family immigrated from the UK. Immigration should make a country stronger as people assimilate into that country's culture. It no longer does. Taking care of those who can not take care of themselves is an honorable thing to do. Taking care of anybody that sticks out their hand is a sin against humankind.
The US Congress plans on buying up every bad debt from privte corporations that they can possibly round up. It won't be long before they own most of the banks the auto makers, and any other business that is prone to failing. It's socialisim in it's worse form. We lose our indiviuallity as business men, and women. There is no incentive to succeed when Big Brother is there to bail you out. I just feel we are headed down an irreversiable path. A path that I fine completely alien to my value system.

Where did I say any of that?

Please quote me that plan I'm curious about what is cold hearted about it. If you are in favor of ramped socialistic programs who do you expect to pay for them. Lets get the government more deeply involved. They've done a bang up job with our education system. Hey how about my handout for all the years I wasted supporting myself. When 90% of the nation is on the socialist dole just who do you suggest to pay fot it. The rich folks will have all of their money invested in countrys that don't punish success.

people talk about history repeating itself...in college I took electives in Roman History ( 3 courses ) - and the parallels are startling - the breakdown of society at the end and an empire that prided itself on innovation and creationthat ended up like the people in Wall-E.
One difference - 'our run' will be nowhere near the timeline
