    From the video it would seem that way.

    I'd estimate they go about twice as fast tuck and roll, complete 360 movement, forward and backward. The nice thing is you don't get stuck against other vehicles.

    Must say the Johns Pizza vehicles move much faster every direction.

    If Disney improves on this ride with some good theming, should be lots of fun.

    ... how the handles are just handles. Look at the boy obviously exerting pressure on them, and they don't move. You don't move them forward to move forward or back to go back, as on JIPC. On the saucers, you just leaned to go the direction you wanted.

    But you are hovering on a thin cushion of air, which you're not on JIPC, which is what made them cool. On the JIPC-style, your car never stops touching the floor, while on the saucers you do.

However, I could see a safety hazard, it's difficult to control/limit the speed of those things - which mean, they can go pretty fast AND crash pretty bad.
