When did B oma start serving lunch?

And, stuff like that just screams "get in a cab" to me - no way do I want to travel 2 hours to get to dinner! UH UH!

As for taking two hours on a bus from All-Stars... save 1 and a half hours off that by taking a bus to Animal Kingdom then to Animal Kingdom Lodge. The trip back may require a cab if you're finished more than 1.5 hours after DAK closes. But up to that point there should be busses at DAK waiting to take you back to All-Stars.

My point is that there are several places where a quest can "transfer" to get to/from their desired location. Those transfer points are going to include any of the parks, as well as TTC and DTD. DTD provides bus service to/ from the resorts till whatever it is 1 AM? 2 AM? As far as I am aware that is the latest transfer point available at those hours. Furthermore, DTD has Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop yet another "good" reason to use DTD as a transfer point <smile>.

We took the bus to DTD and then to Boardwalk to get to Spoodles and took the same path back again on a Saturday night and it took nearly 2 hours of bus riding (stops at water parks, stops at Swan/Dolphin, slow bus service at Boardwalk, etc.)

Agree that taking bus to a park works better - not too many stops along the way. But when parks close earlier, not much you can do.

Don't disagree that cab or car is better solution for non-park activites.

Rental car is the only way to go (and they're cheap in Orlando!).

3 am IIRC - while CW & AC close earlier than 2, most of the "dance" clubs are open until 2, and buses run for an hour after they close to get you back to the resorts.

Unfortunately, since since many of these parks were not planned with a mode of transportations ( with the exception of EPCOT as it initially had the double decker buses ). I am convinced you would compromise astestics to put in a mode of transportation.

The difference is that when Spirit takes a shot I see a friend that's engaging in playful banter. With TDLFAN I see a spiteful attack. And I'm not happy that things have developed that way, as I have great respect for both of these guys. I think maybe the difference is that Spirit enjoys a spirited debate, while TDLFAN hates it when someone disagrees with his holy opinion. Just my opinion, of course . . .

Everyone likes to have a little banter in their day ... and if you can't get some at a site called the LaughingPlace than something is seriously wrong!

    <<With TDLFAN I see a spiteful attack.>>
I'm not going to defend him because he's a big boy (seriously, he could lose a few!) and can defend himself. But if you actually met him, I think you'd realize he's ... he's ... ...nooooooooo don't shoot!!!!!!!!!!!

Right back at you, old man!

I just find that most folks with a brain (see, a qualifier) can reach a middle ground on most issues if they talk and table most of the emotion.

Now, more importantly Epcot needs a whole lot more than a transport system as most visitors can use all the exercise (me included) they can get.

No, what Epcot truly needs is a vision for its future. That's something that's been lacking for well over a decade now. Where's the master plan? Oh, yeah, there isn't one anymore.

It's really interesting to me that many people here have met the lad and have the same reaction as you - he ain't so bad. Perhaps that fateful meeting will occur some day.

Ahh, there's the rub - that emotion thing. Oh well, I'll keep trying . . .
