I've also seen him walking down Main Street like he's on a mission with no eye contact as he probably was We go often enough that there are many CM's we see each time or often enough. Seeing Maynard is more of a "wow" moment though, like a celebrity sighting.

I also have to say that I've never seen him in person, but from many many online anecdotes I've come to the opinion that he tries too hard at inappropriate times.

If you see him walking in the park, don't stop him unless you have an extra ½ hour to spend with him. Once he starts going, it's hard to stop him. He does seem to have a special fondness for LP'ers and remembers many of us. On our last visit to the Tiki Room he made Tinkeroon and I wear napkins on our heads because we were sitting under some birds that had a "problem". He also brought this to the attention of the rest of the guests and made sure we didn't take them off. I've been going to the Tiki Room for over 40 years and have never had a better time.

While working America Sings, it would have just felt wrong getting up and dancing with the audioanimatronic figures on the stage, so I guess that's why I don't quite understand those who feel the need to do so. But that's my opinion.
