Would it bother you if I started a poll?

My point is that people see what they want to see.

If people have an already negative view of Starbucks [you know, Starbucks is evil and runs Mom and Pop coffee shops out of business et al], then they're probably more apt to have other negative thoughts about Starbucks that tie into that -- it's over-priced, people hold the cups to 'look cool,' there are these people smoking and drinking coffee and 'making the scene.'

    A poll though. That's crazy.

So crazy, I just might do it!

Nope. Then again, I'd have to go to a Starbucks.

I though that was some new requirement. I was going to start signing things "Irv".

So...I love Starbucks. At least 2-3 times a week, I'm there. I've tried, but can't make my coffee as good as they do. I buy different blends there all the time. I just bought some Cafe Estima,,,man, it's good.
And the comment I made about people sitting around trying to look cool, is somewhat true, but manly it was just a silly observation, not a putdown.
And the 'poll' thing,,,,,that was a joke, really.

Could be, onlyme. I've been a bit testy over the past couple of days. Sorry.

It happened when I saw 'Meet the Robinsons' over the weekend. It made me crabby.

Um, no. Smoking is illegal inside anyway.

I have seen people go in, and read the paper or work on a laptop, though. I didn't think they looked cool or were trying to.

Do you get out much? I just came back from Arizona. It seems like EVERYBODY smokes there. Indoors, outdoors, and everywhere in between. There's a restaurant in Tempe called The Heart Attack Grill that sells cigarettes for dessert.

Yes. People around here don't smoke very much. Getting out does not include going to Arizona.

Back in HS, we used to eat Wendy's triple-burgers, but they weren't anywhere near as big as that.

I'd love to see the people who actually eat those burgers. Something tells me, they're not the most healthy nor SLIM people either.
