I've been there maybe 30 different times. Never had any problems at all. Just like you. Everybody always seemed friendly, and polite.

We stayed throught Memorial Day Monday, and the crowds got bigger, but still very manageable. While we were there, it did rain a lot (more than 12 inches in 10 days), so that got a little annoying at times, but it was also really fun for our drinking day. There was just something about wearing ponchos (that all matched, of course, since we had them before the trip) around that made everything better. With the rain and ponchos, everything was in auto-wash mode, so it didn't matter if you spilled a little on yourself or the sidewalk. It just washed away. As bummed as we were when it started raining just after our first stop, it ended up making the day even more memorable. And I would also recommend getting a silly hat at one of the stops along the way. My friends got me a Viking hat, since it was my birthday, which lead to hillarity throughout the day. Add in a couple sombreros and maybe a baret or two, and it sounds like a fantastic multi-cultural experience.

They could never tell me which was their favorite or what they even tasted! I recommend getting food and a beverage in each country. Take your time! Who knows maybe you'll actually remember what you had ;-)

It was the most unique club scene I'd ever experienced and it's unfortunate it's gone.

Beautiful, funny, and full of grace on the dance floor. However, by morning she'd been kidnapped and replaced with the evil witch ... and I'm pretty sure she thought similarly about me lol
