I come from a generation where every car my parents had except for the Datsun Z thing had air conditioning. I'm old though. However i'm assuming this is a Japanese car and you can add A/C as a dealer installed option. This may leak, i've had friends with Japanese cars that did this, it's the "same" unit as factory. But for some reason the factory installed units seem better. Why did you buy a car without A/C though? It's not much of a saving. Next time around get a car with automatic climate control, since i've had it i'll NEVER buy another car without it.

We also have a 56 Ford truck that has none and it sure gets hot inside but its worth it. LOL

Take away air conditioning, and I am pretty sure thats what hell is like. Don't do it!!!
