I've looked up a lot of music-related stuff on their site and even when the facts are correct, the entries are too often written by fawning fans who don't seem to understand that encyclopedias are supposed to be at least somewhat objective.

TDS' Sindbad ride always reminds me of the Rio del Tiempo since the final scene in Sindbad features a fabulous fiber optic fireworks display, which come to think of it, makes Rio's finale look like a 5 de mayo window at Macy*s.
Originally Posted By FerretAfros The fireworks in Sinbad are much better IMO for one simple reason: you can't see the fiberoptic cables. El Rio and Sinbad also remind me of eachother, because I have no idea what is going on in either of them. Sinbad is supposed to have a good story line, but since I don't speak Japanese, I have no idea what is going on. El Rio is supposed to be stuff about Mexico's history, but since I don't speak Spanish (or understand why there are guys jumping around in weird costumes on video screens) I don't understand a lot of that either. Both are still really neat, but leave me with that feeling of "Did I just see what I think I did?"

New theme, maybe new name. I'm all for it - this ride has always been a lame-o, and is always practically walk-on. I just hope they do a better job than with the Imaginations pavilion!
