Enchanted Tales with Belle wins industry award

    It is equally important that the info be correct both in a print paper as well as their website. The pictures on the website are not of the experience described in the article.

Everybody at Disney theme parks is supposed to be treated the same way in situations like this. It would fly in the face of Uncle Walt, himself, to discriminate against the young at heart.

    I am not sure it deserves an award but it is a cute attraction that does what it sets out to do.

    Since the THEA Awards is the equivalent of Employee of The Year for theme park attractions it's all going to depend on what other parks were doing in a given year. Unless there was some other more notable development in that category in the world Enchanted Tales deserves the recognition, I guess.

    That's what gets me. The categories are pretty arbitrary, and vary from year to year. If there's a semi-major attraction opening in a park, it will probably get an award, even if they have to make up a category. In the past, I feel like some of them have been so specific to the point where "Best non-looping roller coaster painted red with over-the-shoulder-restraints and onboard audio" could only apply to one thing. I don't know how many other additions qualified in the same category as Enchanted Tales, but it seems like it's sort of on its own playing field

    Maybe "groundbreaking" is overstating things. But it is pretty original.
