The categories are pretty arbitrary, and vary from year to year. If there's a semi-major attraction opening in a park, it will probably get an award, even if they have to make up a category. In the past, I feel like some of them have been so specific to the point where "Best non-looping roller coaster painted red with over-the-shoulder-restraints and onboard audio" could only apply to one thing. I don't know how many other additions qualified in the same category as Enchanted Tales, but it seems like it's sort of on its own playing field
