I'd hate to see another Wild Mouse clone just thrown up there. If something major is actually built there, it better be grand!

Now, a well done Mermaid Lagoon with a "D-Ticket" Little Mermaid ride would be nice, but, I hope they leave room for what needs to be a major "E-Ticket" attraction for the park. It's really a shame that the MK's last "E-Ticket" was Splash Mountain in 1992. All three other WDW parks have all received at least ONE E-Ticket since that time:

Epcot - Mission Space, Test Track and Soarin (Though I'd classify Soarin as a "D 1/2" attraction!)
Disney/MGM - Tower of Terror, Rock n' Roller Coaster (Possibly Lights, Motors, Action, too)
DAK - Kilamanjaro Safari, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, and Expedition Everest (Yes, I know 2 of those attractions opened with the park, but they were "E-Tickets" built after Splash Mountain)

The Magic Kingdom, more than any other WDW park, needs a new "E-Ticket" attraction desperately!!! (And getting back on topic, World Showcase at Epcot also needs one as well, along with a new country pavilion!!!)

About how many countries would you figure they could add before World Showcase would be full? I'd of course like an attraction not just a movie type with each pavilion.

Perhaps, they could add 'mouse-ear' style loops of countries at either side of the lagoon (near Germany on one side and France on the other, possibly) if they really wanted to add even more countries, but, I don't think that will ever be an issue. It would be nice for them to add at least ONE country soon, since the last one (Norway) was added in 1988! That was also the last new attraction (Maelstrom) to be added to WS as well. The updated China movie doesn't really count, nor will the upcoming new Canada movie and the makeover of El Rio del Tiempo since these are already existing attractions. As much as I love World Showcase, it needs something new desperately!

Now I know you people don't much like the character take-overs beeing made when you all heard that the three cabs might be added to El Rio Del Tiempo ride. But I do think that this would work & before anyone says that theres no more space well heres an idea of mine.

A new Canada movie will be played before riding the attraction & it will kill the waits because imagine watching a 15 min. film & you get out & there is the line all the way to where you finally board on to it. But I know how people are they'll just skip the darn film. So of course were will attraction be? Well I'm thinking up stairs to the O' Canada & basically either tearing down the steakhouse resturant or also being location upstairs. And this would go long going back of the Canada section of the park & clearing some things out & it could possibly reach to the Imagination building.

This was my thought of how this rumored ride will turn out to look like & I have to say I hope this rumor is true in my case I don't know about anybody else, well anyways I think EPCOT should not get any rollercoaster of any source. I think it should rather go to MGM or Animal Kingdom or even Magic Kingdom what the heck.

Of course, the rumor of the Nemo makeover of the Living Seas actually happenned. Also, the Three Caballero makeover of El Rio del Tiempo has been around a while now too, but, it definitely looks like this one will happen, so, who knows? I can think of worse things to happen to Canada than a Brother Bear water ride, especially if it were to be done right. Personally, beyond the El Rio makeover, I'd rather not see any more Disney animated character attractions in World Showcase. I'd also like to see Germany get its Rhine River dark ride first!

Neither is the Rhine River attraction despite the fact it was totally planned and the show building already exists and has since 1982.

There used to be an actual entrance with big doors basically to the right of the Biergarten Restaurant ... about 7-8 years ago (maybe even more now) they basically walled the area up and added seating for the pretzel and beer stand, so no one would ever know what could have been back there.

It's not the only one either.

Japan has a show building as well, originally for a version of TDL's old Meet the World show, but I've never been in it so I have no idea what it's used for.

They were never planned for opening day. That I know for a fact. But they were both entirely designed as well.

It's safe to say it wasn't Eisner's call originally to not move forward with them, but it's also safe to say he had no interest in moving forward when he came to Disney too.

Parks are often built with areas set aside for specific attractions that never get built. Like The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast at DLP (although no show buildings were created, expansion pads for them were integrated into the Master Plan).

Even the almost new HKDL has two large buildings in Fantasyland that have room for another dark ride type attraction in each. What eventually winds up there is anyone's guess ... but it likely won't be what the designers intended.

I do know Italy was supposed to double in size with replica Roman ruins as well as more dining and shopping. I don't think there was going to be any ride-thru type attraction, perse. Just the walk-thru ruins ...

As for the UK, I think I remember seeing some sort of 'Crystal Palace' like eating/entertainment offering artwork near the back of the pavilion, but I am not certain of it. My memory is fuzzy on that and I wasn't sure if it may have been a structure with multi-functions, including some sort of attraction within it as well.
