Obviously, none of them are, but Epcot specifically was designed for very high attendance and very efficient turnstyle throughput. The turnstyles were designed to be accessed from all angles with the intent that bus stops and monorails would primarily be accessing the western side and the parking lot would be accessing the eastern side. I don't know how this new checkpoint is going to hold up during Hell Week. I'm gonna bet that security ops will have to station more guards at every gate just to keep the lines from getting completely out of control. Also, the fence is not permanent. They will probably be there for a few years, but the border fence is a stop gap before a much bigger overhaul of Epcot's main entrance takes place.

It was largely designed to be accessed by people entering via the parking lot because that's where the majority of guests were coming from in 1982.

Are you folks out there telling me that Disney who created the Kilimanjoro Safari ride with all of their live animal barriers could not come up with anything better than what basicly boils down to a hurricane chain linked fence. Please don't tell me that's the best that Disney can do. >> Also, the fence is not permanent. I can play the same game and play it better, mind you, but I will be professional here and not place you where your hyperactive arse belongs out of respect for others here. Sounds like you need to escape Fantasyland and smell the coffee. But I will tell you this much... pollyannas like you make me miserable. Passing judgement without offering much solid work on these boards, will not get you too far and trust me, I am already farther along than that. The day you come back to these boards with a heartfelt opinion, photos and vast experience in the Disney parks to be able to compare and comment with conviction, that will be the day I will give you a bit of respect and consider you credible. In the meantime... I will continue my rants and praise when and where they are due.

There are people that come on to these forums and ask real questions and get real answers. You are not capable of doing this. Everything is 'woe is me me, the gates at epcot, chipped paint, bad sound, new attractions!'. Dismiss me all you want, but know this, as far as the company you hold so much pride in, YOU ARE A JOKE. you and little band of ECV riding friends are the laughing stock of disney parks. You think disney owes you because you visit during slow times. Disney looks at you as the guy who is spending a dollar a day to enter the theme parks, brings a bagged lunch, and waves your AP around like a badge looking for your 10% discount. I think you and your buddies need to go out (not disney) maybe get some friends (not the anonymous people on the forums) get a hobby (not posting on anti-disney forums) maybe like bottle-cap collecting or whatever it is you people do, and stop complaining. I have heard people trying to defend these forums as places to vent, and I totally agree with that, but don't say that you also make positive comments. I have not seen one review from anyone that doesn't have some negatives thrown in, I have been reading these posts for about three years. A couple of days a go someone asked a question about attraction closures and I answered it in detail with no problems, everything was good. Then you guys gotta come on here like a couple of 15 year old girls and start drama like this is highschool. Let it go and have a happy holiday. Jon

This joke is on you, as I will have the most fullfilling Disney adventures that kids like you can only dream of. I am done with you.

She told me how much the employees can't stand the APs. They don't behave like normal guests and they are usually the people who are causing problems and making demands. I also got told that the employees at WDW are a pretty jaded lot, too. I don't know how it is in California but apparently the employees in Florida are not quite as thrilled as they may seem to be to listen to people whine about stuff.

It is your description that is a JOKE, not TDLFAN. TDLFAN can be a little cranky; at times even mean. But I think most of the time it's just an act and you shouldn’t take it so seriously.

I suspect that there are quite a few people who would be more than happy if I never said another word again. Everntually that will happen. In any case, I don't know how many people actually "listen" to me anyway. I think people listen to rah rah types as much as any other type. People gravitate towards those who hold the same opinions that they do, as a form of self validation. So, people will line themselves up with whomever they think sounds good, or has the loudest voice so as to convince them that they think the same way. I generally don't do that, in that I don't really need a lot of validation from others, although it is nice of course. I just say what I think. I don't need other people to tell me what I should and should not say. I've been accused of being absolutely everything from a pollyanna with rose colored glasses to an ignorant negative whiner who hates everything. It really just doesn't matter.
