You can thank Datsun / Toyota for changing that forever -- there would have been no incentive otherwise for the Big 3 to build bettter cars. And they wonder why people don't come running back now.....we have memories. And since most / all foreign car companies also build cars here now also- and provide jobs...don't feel bad that way either...... back on topic (sort of) -- I just hope one day we are not lamenting the loss of Stitch Escape because it is a better attraction than what replaces it.

Wife, mom in-law, 4 year old daughter and 4 month old daughter. 3rd trip. Bad news that Test Track will be closed then. Looks like the Sea Cabs will be back, additionally might see a couple new attractions at Epcot before its anniversary. I'd like to see a cultural parade return to Epcot, as well as a couple new attractions in the world(at least one on England/Canada side). The top two complaints at Epcot has always been nothing for the 2-9 set to do, along with no thrill rides. They have managed to add items to each while still maintaining a large portion of its original intent. By the way, Epcot has climbed back up to 9.4 million after a low of 8.3 in 2002.

We flew her in to Orlando for a couple of days last year and took her to the Magic Kingdom. To my HUGE surprise it was one of the most enjoyable days we've ever had at the MK. Watching my mother's first time reactions to the MK was just as fun as watching a child's first time reactions. For the first time in over a decade, my mother did not complain once about her health the entire time we were with her. It was one of the best days I've had with my mother for at least 30 years, maybe the best time in my life. She was a kid again too. She really loved Mickey's PhilharMagic, and I offered to by her a Sorcerer Mickey on the way out of the attraction. She said no, she really wouldn't have anywhere to put it. But when we passed by the store a couple of hours later, she said that she really would like it after all, and wondered if we would still get if for her. I have to say that it was truly the best day I've ever had at the MK. For once 100% of my thoughts were with showing someone else a great time rather than worrying about what kind of time I was having. Although I would have never anticipated it, that resulted in my having the best time I've ever had. This year we plan to take my mom to the Disney/MGM Studios and to Epcot. She also wants to spend a couple of days just relaxing in our Villa while we go out and do other stuff. If you would be interested in meeting us sometime at Epcot for Illuminations, that would be fun. As the time gets closer let me know if you are interested. We could communicate via email and set something up.

The Food and Wine Festival was fun and we enjoyed some very delicious food. The Cheese Soup in Canada is a favorite; there was a new WineIce Reisling ($50 a bottle) we really enjoyed (I'm not sure if that is the proper name WineIce) from Italy; the baklava in Morroco is yummy; the crab cakes and corn chowder in good ole USA is a favorite; macadamia nut chocolate something or other tart that was out of this world; I had yummy good fun!!!! And, I've got to alert Blazes about the school bread in Norway. TO DIE FOR!! Was everything Blazes said it would be and more!!!! Thanks for the quote from the dedication, wedroy1923. ºOº
