If a situation arises, Disney deals with it quickly and as discretely as possible. They try not to upset the general guest's day as they perform their duties.

They're really very good at dealing with problem guests without anybody else around even noticing that anything's going on. Also, remember that not all the Security CM's are in uniform. Many are undercover (though I've been told that they're easy to spot if you know what to look for).

I also like knowing that there are some cameras located around the parks to keep an extra eye out on things.

In the minor incidents I've seen over the years, mostly rude or disrespectful guests, cast members or other guests have said something to the people causing the problem and the problem stopped. Personally, I feel that there is enough uniformed security in the parks and feel that anymore of them could detract from the overall experience. However, I wouldn't be against more undercover security.

Now something's wrong with this picture. If the child got hurt and the dad decided to sue, Disney would be hit with millions in damages....all because the father was negligent in letting his kid get in the fountain.....go figure.

This of course is not true of all jurers but enough that it gums up the whole system. Oh well what can you do? Serve when called!
