The backward part in the dark may be boring on video, but that's because it can't convey the sensation of riding backward up hill with out any visual to "ground" you. A completely origional ride experience! I recommend it to anybody who doesn't hate coasters.

Yeah, well *I* happen to be number TWO on that list (only MagicalNezumi beats me out) for being the FIRST guy on LP to recognize TDLFAN's comments as the God's honest truth when it comes to Disney.

    Oh, wait...OrlandoBoi.

Okay, I'm number three. OrlandoBoi can be number two. Whatever happened to THAT guy!?

Okay, I want to make sure I've got this backward thing down, -- I thought you were dropping and curving on the way down, are you saying you go up also ?

If there is a will.. there is a way.

As for Orlandoboi... He and I comunicated via email off LP and kept in touch.. then all of a sudden, his email was no longer working and email would bounce back "undelivered". Last time I heard from him, he was moving in with a friend and possibly getting married.. But I too wonder what has becoe of him, and I sure hope he is doing well. He is missed by some of us who enjoyed his views about Disney and the quality of the parks, especially his love for TDR.

It sure felt like we were going uphill backward, but I'll admit it was VERY disorienting in the dark.

My 9 y/o son and I had a great time, ccj. You have GOT to ride this thing if you get a chance on your next trip.

they are concerned about the backwards thing -- I told them hey, a few seconds and it's all over...can;t be that bad...of course they'll kill me if I am wrong.

Got my wife on MS last year and she was light headed for 2 -3 hours

I just don't get it. And stories like this one have been told 1,000's of times over. Those who willfully pass up a chance to ride EE, one of the most anticipated attrations ever to open anywhere, is like going to Tahiti and not getting in the beautiful South Pacific waters.

What's mild to you could be terror for someone else. I've heard the Tower of Terror referred to as the Tower of Mild Excitement For a Few Seconds, but for me it's over the top (even when it was only one drop!). I'm looking forward to riding EE, but I can't blame anyone who wants to pass.

Everyone's thresholds are different, some from phobia's that ARE real to themand others from physical limit thresholds that aren't as unlimited or in my case as unlimited as they used to be.

I try and respect that for everyone, as we all canhanle different things. But if I have a duaghter who is going to be sick and miserable due to a backwards curving drop, I surely am not going to try and make her ride the ride...it's just not worth it.
