No, many things give them away as UK tourists...they are white as they can be, or they are sunburned in a lovely lobster tan, but the best clue is that bloody blimey accent similar to the Queen!

Bloona, I amnot a moderator. I have no such powers.

    >>if people are going shirtless then why are the CMs not doing their job? <<

I ask myself the same question, but my guess is CMs do not want to be bothered or have the guts to tell tourists to follow dress codes.

    >>I was at Blizzard Beach and when you are standing at the top waiting to get onto Teamboat Springs you can see a side of Everest that looks like it has a whole lot more work to be done.<<

That's because from BB, you can see EE from behind! Meaning, the plain ugly wall side of the mountain.

    >>Absolutely amazing photos!...<<

    That's a little better Basas...

And, for those who've never met TDLFAN - I've spent a decent amount of time with him in the parks, and never once has he commented to me on someone else's dress - he saves it for the photo albums and LP. :) heheh

What, you say? TDLFAN is evil? Well, he DOES live in a state with a Bush for governor... heheh

-Very true Bloona. And I don't get offended if someone's not wearing a shirt. I mean I'll notice it automatically cause it's unusual in the parks but you know....what happens when your at Typhoon Lagoon? I guess I'm just a water/sun kinda guy.

TDLFAN, you MUST be joking when you say we all talk like the queen, that's just TTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOO funny. LOL. She has what I call a plumy(sp) accent. I do not. If you have ever heard anyone from the rest of the UK talk, then you'd know that. Also i arent as white as can be, and Im very sensible with sunblock so I dont burn.

ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh, anyway. we've had this convo many a time and youre being as stubborn as a mule about realising that OK some British might dress this way, but a huge % of us DONT.

Ok, going to count to ten now. Your work here is done. You've got my back up on the subject AGAIN.

What did I do lol! It is *very* safe to say I do not go around in any state of undress in the parks, nor do any of the people I've been with, DH will not even wear sandals as it means people can see his feet, he's strictly a shorts, t-shirt and trainers man, if you're really unlucky you might catch me in a vest top with my shorts instead of a t-shirt. I'm also right there with you on the tankini front! I will admit to being white, but this is because I am exceptionally pale skinned and wear high factor suntan lotion, as I'd rather be pale and interesting than risk catching skin cancer, that being said I've also seen more than a few pale americans, let's face it, there are going to be dodgy dressers wherever you go (trust me I've seen 'em) but you can't just tar everyone with the same brush, and I am sure there are american visitors abusing the clothing system just as badly as some of the brits lol!

I'm right there with you on the accent Bloona, my beautiful north eastern twang bears almost no resemblance to the queen's lol!

My wife went without sunblock one day a few years ago while at the park - we called her Big Red the rest of the trip...

Bloona, I'm always joking but you people never get it and end up gettin upset al the time.

Also for the record... No, I don't get upset to see UK visitors without shirt at TYPHOON LAGOON!! like... "helloooo?" It's a water park. BUt the other parks do have a Dress code "shoes and shirts required" and while some American do go shirtless at parks, seems to me the UK visitors are more common offenders. Sorry if that bothers you or anyone else but that's my observation on my many repeated visits to WDW.

As a local though...I must say, if it wasn't for the UK tourists, this town would be dead. They keep the tourist economy going.
