And the rumored midway mania coming to MGM soon... You would complain if they hung you with a new rope. Sure I role my eyes too when i see theme marking dreams and magic but come on your still getting the same rides added with a sweepstakes.

Where's the substance in a 35 year birthday? I thought at least the 50th celebration for Disneyland celebrated at all the other parks made anniversary sense. A golden year!
Originally Posted By Kane22 I have no problem with these celebrations because once theres one coming into play you get new attractions like imagineer1985 said. But if you think about it what is there to fix at MK? The only thing they need to fix is Stitch Great Escape in my view. Plus I don't know if the Pooh's play area was apart of the 50th Celebration but I must say that I really didn't like what I saw when MK couldn't made another sub that will be part of the Millon Dreams celebration like the one at DLR. But with all these Nemo things going on at WDW I say nevermind to that thought. And as I say again this all was brought by these celebrations that you all don't really seem to care of.

But also a film-based one that is a direct lift of the most unique and popular reason folks have for visiting DCA. I'd also point out, being a voice of quality here, that the film is in horrible shape with huge dustballs that hovers. Inexcusable. The queue has also shown signs of abuse/graffiti by guests. <<LMA>> Have you seen the show? Because I've seen it now 5-6 times and it is so boring that it makes WaterWorld at Uni. Hollywood and Indy at Disney-MGM look great by comparison. And those shows are ancient. They NEVER use the jetskis. I can also tell you that Disney officials privately admit the show hasn't pulled in nearly the crowds expected and fear it will be playing before half-empty crowds soon. In other words, they spent a lot of $$$ to build a show with little repeatability that can't even pull in the NASCAR loving hordes that descend on WDW. In the meantime, vast sections of the park are empty and void of people ... and the horrible BAH remains. <<Expedition Everest>> A true E-Ticket, or the closest WDW has come in many years, no doubt. But it also was planned well before the marketing celebration. If you know anything about the creation of this attraction, you'll know that Joe Rohde and his team basically snuck approval of this through in the power void between Pressler leaving and Rasulo taking over. It's also in a park that had 1/3rd of its original plan taken out of the budget after construction began. Look at the dragon in the park's logo and you'll understand. So in essence, this one attraction is just a piece of the mythical section that was never built. <<And a new Stage show in front of the Castle....>> Yawn. The show was pathetic even by WDW standards. You simply can't compare it to lavish shows like Aladdin at DCA or Lion King and Tarzan at DLP. When even the mommies of little princesses are bored by it, you know how bad it really was. <<All within 18 months and you dont think they are reinvesting?>> I never said they weren't reinvesting. They aren't reinvesting adequetely. When you have FOUR gates, you can't (even though WDW does) make an addition to one (even a substantial one) and use that as an excuse to not invest in the others or not keep the park up or not refresh entertainment offerings etc ... Everest may be a wonderful addition to DAK, but in no way does it/should it preclude the MK from getting a new E-Ticket for the first time in FIFTEEN YEARS! <<Oh and coming soon once again... Laugh Floor in MK>> Yes. Taking the place of a closed Timekeeper. And while I'll keep an open mind about it, I don't have a good feeling. It is essentially Turtle Talk in an expanded format and in an ill-conceived location thematically. <<EPcot SEA CABS with NEMO.>> They reOPEN an attraction that's been closed for five years WITH characters and we're supposed to jump with joy? And lest we forget the shuttering of WoL with THREE attractions in it? Or the REAL Image Works? Or the empty areas in Innoventions? <<FInding Nemo Stage show in Animal Kingdom.>> I'm excited by this, but again it's taking the place of Tarzan Rocks. <<And the rumored midway mania coming to MGM soon...>> Not a rumor, A FACT! And a clone of the DCA version except with a smaller budget. And an attraction that again, will be placed in a strange area for it. <<You would complain if they hung you with a new rope.>> I don't need any rope to be well .. <<Sure I role my eyes too when i see theme marking dreams and magic but come on your still getting the same rides added with a sweepstakes>> You miss the point. It's all style over substance. It has been this way with WDW since the 25th Anniversary pink cake and never-ending Remember the Magic parade.

Maybe we could have celebration free month once every year. The only problem being someone would come up with a campaign. Come celebrate the magic of Celebration Free February. I picked February because I felt they would pick the shortest month. Now, WDW is doing just fine without my input, these or only my opinions. I hope the trend will remain to rehab, and improve different areas of the parks. After saying all of that, I do love WDW so.

Ya' think? I'll watch over the next few days.
