    I'm under the impression that the last person to have survived all these years from the first summit trip died recently and it was a Sherpa (spelling?) that went up with them.

    I could be wrong though - that's just what I remember from seeing the Everest Omnimax movie a couple of years ago as the main person in the movie was the son of a member of the original expedition

    Not a bad idea jkayjs. I mean, parks do it all the time when they open new rides. They get people that really make no sense to open rides. Remember Busch Gardens, Tampa got Fabio to open that roller coaster several years ago.
