I was pleasantly surprised to see how the line for Space Mountain moved during EMH, and how you had a completely different experience. Unfortunately that was the only good experience we had during EMH at any park.

It's late (for me!), and I ain't got much to contribute. Can we continue this tomorrow, when I'm at work getting paid to while away the day (quiet time of year and all) ? Loving youse guys!!!

It'll feel good to rip Disney management. I sleep better at night knowing I've done my Disney duty ;-) But like I said to Dan, the Al Lutz column is pretty accurate about the hirings. He also is likely right that DL is in a bit better position because at least Ed has had parks experience. Meg is a complete neophyte ... a desk jockey. And I've never seen those type of lifers adjust well to a completely different environment. <<I can tell you in my management career of 30 years, some of the best managers were not the best techinicians of what they managed...and one can be extremely successful managing an area on pure management skills than the halo effect of knowing 'all the right things' -->> I agree. But when you're placed in a position in order to be a complete puppet of the division head ... well, it doesn't matter how well a manager you are. <<that being said, we are more passionate about our parks than most things, and I do believe it takes at least a fair level of hands on park experience to understand what the customer wants.....and it appears someof these promotions do not cover that, so am I worried-- yes. Do I know enough to wail on either person...I wish i did, but I do not possess that knowledge. make sense ?>> Perfectly ... and unlike Danny, I haven't been drinking. But when I finish wasting time here and getting some last minute things done here, I may well have rum ... with a spoonful of Coke in it! Maybe I'll make a toast to the 'health' of some of my Disney 'pals.'

It wouldn't bother me to see it go away. I spent a quarter of a century visiting Disney parks without and did just fine. If it continues, that's fine too. I just wish they'd use it smarter, much like they are doing at DL. Every attraction doesn't need it. And even those big E-Tickets don't need it on every day.

Now it is only available for Big Thunder, Indy, Peter Pan, Space Mountain and Buzz. RNR Coaster has it if the Studios are ever busy. On a few signature attractions, it seems to work well.

No wonder we felt the MK sucked in 2000. Thank god there were aa number of AA heavy attractions we don't have inParis, otherwise we would have hardly stayed in that park. Still love Epcot and DAK though!
