We were at TT just after 9 and took FP's even though we were not sure we would need them. It ended up being a good move, because the standby line was 45 minutes plus at 10:30 pm. There were no FP's being distributed for Soarin', which is where they really could have used some. The standby line there was long all night. Also, at MK on Sunday night 3/26 they were distributing FP's for Peter Pan during EMH. MK was open until 2 AM, and the FP return sign was reading between O:OO and 01:30. I really hate to mention this, but when we were at DAK for EMH on Wednesday evening, they had the FP return line open, even though no FP's were being distributed. The CM was telling guests that they could use FP's from earlier in the day. Fortunately, the stadnby line moved fast all night. Otherwise, I would be more ticked about having the FP line open so people who were lucky enough to have expired FP's could use them. In the future, I might have to take advantage of this by taking FP's earlier in the day even though I have no intention of using them until later. That is not what the FP system was designed for, but if they are going to allow this loophole, then I am not going to let other people have the advantage. It makes no sense for this to be allowed-it only promotes abuse of the system. On the question of how to stay the park after EMH's begin in the evening, you have to show a Key to the World Card to get a wrist band. There are various locations within each park to do this. The CM's distributing the wrist bands have hand held scanners that they slide the KTTW cards through before issuing the wrist band. The CM's at the attractions were pretty vigilant about checking wrist bands, but I saw tons of folks enjoying the restaurants and shops after hours without wrist bands.

Not sure yet what day/night for EMH I want to do... see ya there!

Originally Posted By tricircleD As stated above, we were there last week. They do require a KTTW card for each wristband, and they did scan each card. Another new thing is that the name of each guest is now on the KTTW card. In the past, they all used to have the name of the person who registered for the room. Now, each guest is issued a specific card. The wrist bands are only used for the evening EMH's, not for the morning EMH's.
