A gay guy who sounds like my great Grandma does not, I repeat does not, apply there(which is what I experienced in complete laughter at the Magic Kingdom in WDW.) And that Jungle Cruise experience with that gay guy made me think while lauhing for awhile into the night, "what the heck were they thinking, must, I mean MUST be a joke."

So to me everyone has strengths and weaknesses and I just cannot see why a guy with the voice of a great grandma could be jungle cruise skipper and your average strentgh young girl could be Canoe paddler and have to have the guy pull most of the canoes weight. But I am all for equal rights, just as strategically as possible. Utilize people's strengths.

I know. We have the video.

I just had a vision of a fat, bald guy with 5 o'clock shadow portraying Mary Poppins.

There were rules about hair, jewelry etc.

I get it at DL, but at the Post Office?

    It was crazy!!!

I guess it was kind of a throw back from when my parents were young and they had to draw water from the well, heat it up on the stove and fill a tub up. You really didn't want to do that more than once a week.

    I think I am offended! :)

Yep. Until I was in high school and started taking a daily shower, Saturday night was bath night. All kids took a bath that evening; taking turns in the one bath tub. Our other bathroom was a half bath – just toilet and sink. This was very common for houses built n the 50’s and 60’s. If you had a second bathroom it rarely had a tub or shower.

It was also almost unheard of for every kid to have their own bedroom. You almost always shared with a sibling. You have to remember this was a time of large families, with most people having at least 3 or 4 kids. Even if you were pretty well off and had a four bedroom house (about as big as they came back then), with 4 kids and parents someone had to share.

I really think a female cast member is fully capable of running the canoes. In fact there were two women cast members on the canoe I went in last time. It's not only the CMs that row, ya know. We are all supposed to do our share. A whole canoe of women without any men on it would be perfectly capable of making it around the river I'm sure.

As far as skin problems, that's a shock cause often there is nothing, short of harsh prescriptions, you can do about this. I guess if you weren't perfect looking in Walt's day, no working at Disneyland for you!
