It would be a good idea to inquire about it while looking for rates.

If we have more than 5 (max cap at most hotels) then we stay somewhere like holiday inn express in the family suite or desert inn (yes I said desert inn --- we have always had a good room here) in the mini suite!!

Me too. That's why for the life of me I cannot believe the people that will stay at the GCH-pay top $ for rooms that have sleeping bags for some!

I pray they will be kind and help with the rate also.If anybody offered to help you out for a few hours would you be acceptable? I am not talking about leaving your children with strangers but maybe somebody that could help with the Fastpasses. LPStore has a new book about WDW unfortunately that seems to go into a lot of detail about all the assistance that is available thru Disney.I am sure WDW and DL would have the same level of caring. Maybe you could go to the bookstore to preview the book.

Hotels would incur huge fines and possible lawsuits should they knowingly break the fire code by allowing more people to stay in a room than the code allows.

I don't really get that either. It's a gorgeous hotel but you can sit by the giant fireplace for free. ;-)

Sadly, legal and kindness/understanding do not go together.

I am more concerned about the glares and comments if we use the "disabled ride entrance option". Is this common? any suggestions?

I look at it this way if using the other enterance makes him feel more comfortable and makes your trip easier and more enjoyable you should...It is Disneyland and it should be fun!

Otherwise, if he is doing well, we'll wait in line with everyone else.
