It's like they are always having some big issue with some special effects during the show.

It's not like they cost all that much in Orlando... ;-)

I really dislike the show. Maybe it's because I was at the opening of the original and was so amazed. Maybe it's because the original turns a regular park venue into a magical venue at night. Maybe it's all the shoehorning of really weird elements (like the Pocahontas segment) into the Studios show. Or maybe it's the whole cattle herd into a stadium deal. I dunno really. I have family that love the show at MGM and drag me to it kicking and screaming, but it does absolutely nothing for me.

The DL version is such a perfection of story, music, effects and pacing. That last element, pacing, is the biggest thing missing for me in Florida. I just don't come away with that cool feeling of having just experienced a perfect event like I do in SoCal. So to those of you who still enjoy the MGM show - keep it up, and more power to you! But if you ever get a chance, I'm just about guaranteeing that you'll appreciate the differences in DL's show. Here's hoping you get the chance someday!

I have seen the one at DL also -- and it is different and flows better -- I think the queue and crowds at MGM take away from it some-- that loooong walk up the queue just isn;t magical
