They're both amazing shows. I actually like the Pocohantas section, and the stadium set-up.

I'm not so sure about that. Seems that I've read reports recently about people camping out, spreading blankets, and holding their ground way early. For me even 30 minutes is too long. I can't imagine just sitting, watching all the fun going by, and not being able to participate. No show is worth that much to me!

Last time we went, over Labor Day weekend, there were people waiting 4 hours for the first showing of F!, just as there were people waiting over 3 hours in the hub for the fireworks. Of course, we went to the second showing of F!, after seeing the fireworks, and got the "obstructed" viewing spot in the middle - have been doing this since we lived in LA.

I have found that if there is a second show we can arrive 10-20 minutes before and still get a decent location. The only downside is that by that time we are pooped and would like to sit on a bench (those are long gone by then). That is the one thing I like about MGM's F!

Maybe someday we will splurge for the dessert buffet (its just so darn expensive!)

And when you do it, just be glad you're not me. I had booked it in January then had to miss it because I had the flu. So when I saw it in July, I had paid a total of over $100 for my ticket! lol

The view and zilch wait time worth it to me, though. :D

I started up this thread about a month ago. After coming back from WDW, I am now able to give some feedback on F! in MGM. This is the first time I have been in WDW. I took the advice and had a seat near the centre of the amphitheater, nearly the upper most row. The good part of it is I could see the picture of the whole scene, fireworks, colorful left & right water fountains, parades floating on boats all the way from left to right or vice versa. But the short coming of it is I could hardly watch the details of the laser cartoon projecting on the water curtain, and I could not watch the CMs¡¦ performance on stage clearly.
But if I took a seat upfront, I would have missed a large part of the fireworks as a whole. Also I would not be able to watch what the CMs were performing on the boats when they were riding on the most left or right hand side of the artificial lagoon. So there is no `the best location¡¦ to watch F!. It¡¦d be better for me to come back again next time and take a different seat at a different location, once on the side of the amphitheater or once right in front of the lagoon.
Despite the critics on F! in MGM in comparison with that in DL, I do appreciate this show. It involves a no. of CMs performing live on stage in combination with laser display, fireworks, all those special effects & virtual realities.
By the way, there is one more thing. Before the F!, people started the so-called `Mexican wave¡¦ from one side of the amphitheater to the other for a couple of times. Do the guests there do the same every night every time?
